Darwin Day 2011
Some of our young scientists
Chloe, Eric, Khiron, and Reid, along with Jim LoPresti, Director of Ethical Friends of Children. They worked on their coming-of-age project by selecting clothing, shoes, books, and toys for a family of four children with a mother who was expecting a baby. The children then delivered the clothes, toys, books, a new crib, changing table, diapers, and other items to the appreciative family in Hempstead. As one of the teens said, "it felt good to help someone."
