Colloquy & Meditation
Before our Sunday Meetings, some members of the Society look forward to gathering for Colloquy – an informal hour of nurturing and reflection. Colloquy provides an opportunity to meet each week in a small group setting to examine a particular aspect of life, related to one’s feelings and attitude toward a specific concept. Examples of recent topics include: honesty, friendship, generosity, anger, and forgiveness. It is a structured meeting, including reflection and self-expression, in a non -judgmental, confidential atmosphere.
Colloquy begins at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday, and runs throughout the entire year. If you would like more information or are interested in attending, contact Jean Bobick at the Society at office@ehsli.org or 516-741-7304.
