Founder’s Day
Each year in May, we honor members of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island who have contributed to the life of our Society. The month of May marks the beginning of the Ethical Culture movement in May of 1876 when Felix Adler founded the New York Society for Ethical Culture in Manhattan. Founder’s Day is our time to celebrate the people who bring their special talents and dedication to our Society.
