- Who We Are
- What We Do
- Social Action
Can we help solve complicated global problems like climate change? Must we choose between attending to our immediate obligations and taking sufficient action to protect our future? We will examine the ethical implications of cynicism as well as pragmatic alternatives with the potential for global impact.
Jeanne Brunson is an elementary band teacher and an active composer. Constantly inspired by the beauty and fragility of nature and passionate about protecting it, she is convinced that science can point the way to solutions that allow us to live in harmony with the only planet we have.
A trained presenter for the Climate Reality Project and a volunteer citizen lobbyist with Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Ms. Brunson advocates for a safe climate future for her students and her two young children. She served as co-leader for the Long Island chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby from 2014-2017 and continues to volunteer actively with the organization.
