Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas discussed her 27 year career as a prosecutor and her strategies that have lowered crime and recidivism while helping offenders lead productive and law-abiding lives.
As Nassau County’s District Attorney, Madeline Singas serves as the chief law enforcement official for Nassau County’s 1.3 million residents. She manages a staff of more than 350 attorneys, investigators, and support staff; prosecuting and investigating approximately 30,000 criminal cases annually to ensure that Nassau remains one of the nation’s safest suburban counties.
